Born in 1959 in Ottawa, Pierre Dorion lives and works in Montreal. He holds a BFA from University of Ottawa and is the recipient of the 1997 Ville de Montréal Prix Louis-Comtois for mid-career achievement. He is represented by Galerie René Blouin, Montreal, Diaz Contemporary, Toronto, and Jack Shainman Gallery, New York.
