Born in 1974 in Wainwright, Alberta, Kim Dorland lives and works in Toronto. He holds a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and an MFA from York University. He was a finalist in the 2006 and the 2007 RBC Canadian Painting Competition and is represented by Angell Gallery, Toronto, and Mike Weiss Gallery, New York.
