Julie Trudel was born in 1977 in Montreal, where she lives and works. She holds a BA and an MA in visual and media arts from Université du Québec à Montréal and was a finalist in the 2011 and the 2012 RBC Canadian Painting Competition. She is represented by Galerie Hugues Charbonneau, Montreal.
