" My works accept some of the conventions of comic strips, but in content the narratives are more closely related to sitcoms (The Cosby Show, Full House, Seinfeld) in that they focus on the inevitable awkwardness of human (or humanoid) interactions and general buffoonery. As ‘post-interesting’ they refuse neat resolution as narratives or avant-garde criticality; rather, they celebrate the absurd, the excessive, the decorative, bad taste, failure, and ultimately, time (poorly) spent, as the laboriousness of the process is disproportionate to the ‘substance’.
